  • DISCUSS MAUS WITH THE BANNED BOOK CLUBIn addition to The Banned Book Club of the Digital Public Library of America, which gives us free digital access to banned books, there’s also a Banned Book Club organized by the American Library Association and NBC. The ALA/NBC book club hosts and moderates public online discussions of banned books. The first book chosen for discussion in 2024 is Maus by Art SpiegelmanWe can participate by joining the live chat on the ALA’s Facebook page on January 4 at 12:30 p.m. CT. And we can follow the ALA on Facebook so we can participate in future banned book discussions.
