Last Tuesday, we helped Democrats FLIP Central Bucks, Council Rock, and Pennridge School Board against aggressive slates of well-funded right-wing book-banners.
And that’s just a FEW of major wins we scored against the Moms for Liberty this cycle.
Since 2021, dozens of PA school boards have made national headlines with hundreds of targeted book bans against books with LGBTQ+ stories, or by authors of color.
Turn PA Blue supporters fought back, donating, phone banking, and canvassing. We even put billboards up against book bans.
That’s not all! You may remember that in 2021, we made historic gains in Central York School District. We came back in 2023 to finish the job, securing a 7-2 Democratic majority which will protect the freedom to read!
That’s why I founded Turn PA Blue. We needed a year-round organization that came back election after election until we won.
It’s how we helped erase a 20-seat Republican majority in the PA House of Representatives from 2017 to 2022, and flip Pennsylvania’s electoral votes from Trump to Biden.
Now, we need your help to get to 2024. We left it all on the field, and the fate of our democracy nationwide hinges on Democratic turnout in Pennsylvania.
