Final Push For Virginia

“With Youngkin’s victory [in 2022], and if the Republicans achieve what they are setting out to do this year, I think all bets are off for 2024.”

Mark Rozell

Dean of the Schar School of Policy and Government
at George Mason University

“This race is first and foremost about abortion. If it hadn’t been for the Democratic blue brick wall in the state senate the last two years, abortion would be banned in Virginia.”

Susan Swecker, Chair of the Virginia Democratic Party

From “Virginia’s Off-Off-Year Election,” The Guardian

Help Recruit Poll Observers for Critical Areas
Recruit poll observers for important localities where coverage is very, very low: Petersburg and Suffolk. According to the VA Dems Voter Protection Team, “these races could tip the balance of the legislature.” Our call list is 1,800 HIGHLY committed Democrats, with 95-100 support scores.

Center for Common Ground/Reclaim Our Vote
We are calling voters of color in specific counties to give them the information they need to vote early or vote on Election Day. We are not making calls for candidates, but we will be getting out the vote in a toss-up district whose candidate is endorsed by Sister District, Climate Cabinet, and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia.

If you haven’t made these calls and want a refresher,
arrive at PowerHour at 2:30 PM.
We’ll show you the ropes.
