When the Democrats gained a majority in the Michigan House of Representatives and the Senate for the first time in almost 40 years, there was little time wasted in making a difference for Michiganders! This is a testament to not only staying engaged in the local political process, but more importantly, getting out to vote! Be sure to check your voter registration status, local polling place, and let’s keep up the momentum by electing Democrats in 2024!
The Oakland County Democratic Party is a 527 organization whose mission is to promote social and economic justice by building an engaged, diverse, Democratic majority in Oakland County in order to enhance the quality of life for all. Membership is open to all Oakland County residents who are eligible to vote. Our Executive Committee meets the second Tuesday of each Month at 7:00 PM. These meetings are free and open to the public.
