New Mental Health Initiative Launching Soon – A.S.K
This October, TaskForce is launching an initiative with MTV and Active Minds encouraging everyone to support their friends’ mental health using the A.S.K method – Acknowledge, Support, and Keep-in-Touch.
This past weekend, we previewed the A.S.K program at the VMAs Block Party, featuring a soft sculptural installation by fiber artist Katrina Sanchez and a DIY friendship bracelet station, sharing the power of peer support and being a mental health ally.
Black Women Deserve Better
The wage gap is very real, and Black women face the worst pay discrimination out of any major group in this country. Tackling racism and sexism begins with dismantling the systemic exploitation Black communities experience every day. Use these images to demand equal pay for all.
