Upcoming Monthly Meeting

Dear Friends,
I hope this email finds you in great spirits as we celebrate Labor Day! Today, let’s take a moment to honor the contributions of working people and recognize the essential role of unions in fighting for workers’ rights. Our collective strength is what drives us forward.
We’re gearing up for an exciting monthly meeting on Thursday, September 7 that you won’t want to miss! This month, we have the privilege of welcoming a distinguished activist from South Carolina to share insights and wisdom with us.
Meeting Details:
- Physical Location: Del Webb Library, Indian Land
- Virtual Attendance: Please sign up [here] to receive the Zoom link via email.
Special Guest Speaker: We are honored to have Jeni Atchley as our guest speaker. She is a passionate and award-winning activist, former Dorchester County Democratic Party Chair, former SCDP Third Vice Chair, and former president of Young Democrats of South Carolina. Many of you know her from my 2022 State House campaign
Here’s her detailed bio.
Pre-Meeting Survey: To make her presentation as relevant as possible to our community, Jeni would like attendees to complete a brief survey in advance.

Q&A Session: A Q&A session will follow the presentation, providing an opportunity for you to engage directly with Jeni. Feel free to prepare your questions in advance!
We are eager to see each of you, whether you choose to join us physically or virtually. This meeting is a fantastic chance to learn, network, and contribute to our shared mission of making a positive impact in our community.
Warm regards,
Katie Crosby
Chair, Lancaster County Democratic Party
P.S. If you know anyone interested in what we’re doing, please extend this invitation to them as well. The more, the merrier!
Wishing you all a happy and restful Labor Day. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting!
