The GOP has invited the insurrection leader, election denier, twice criminally indicted, radical extremist candidate backer, and his record is one of misery and despair to dinner — Donald Trump.
This is the seriousness of the challenge in front of us. I am asking you to help the OCDP keep our eyes on our mission and the values Oakland County Democrats are committed to:
- Building a pro-family agenda
- Growing a more robust economy for all families
- Fighting to ensure that all voters count and voters’ rights are not disqualified
- Ensuring all citizens have access to healthcare, which includes a woman’s right to choose
- Promoting educational excellence in all districts;
- Protecting our democracy
- Valuing all cultures
While the County Republicans and GOP hold division and are led by a twice impeached official, we have a chance to show Democrats are the leaders Oakland County, Michigan, and the Nation deserve.
This year the OCDP is supporting the local elections and preparing for the 2024 presidential election. Our county and our state are still a critical battleground in 2024.
I’m excited about the work ahead of us and hope you’ll join me today and stand with OCDP. We will all work together to keep our Countywide elected officials, State House Representatives, Congressional Delegation, and President.
