End Gun Violence MI is a statewide coalition of activists, survivors,
faith leaders, unions, teachers, physicians, students, and community
organizations who have come together to dedicate ourselves to ending gun
violence in our state.  We are planning a HUGE statewide Day of Action
on Saturday, June 17th and would like your help promoting the event.  It
would be greatly appreciated if you could please share the information
below with your members and stakeholders.

We have tremendous victories to celebrate, but still so much to do.
Join us at events all across Michigan for a statewide day of action:
Silence the Violence.

Each event is different, from marches to gun buy-backs to art
installations. They’re an expression of how each community is grappling
with the scourge of gun violence.

Church of the Messiah has organized the annual Silence the Violence
March for 16 years in Detroit to honor the innocent victims of gun
violence. This year, they’ve asked End Gun Violence Michigan to take it
statewide so we can spread the message of hope and resilience to every
corner of Michigan.

***NOTE: A few allied events are NOT on June 17. Please check the
date!***

We will email updates to registrants for events that still have details
pending.
