Call the Gen Laws Committee and tell them to VOTE NO on SBs 39 and 49

These bills are direct attacks on the rights of trans Missourians. SB 39, prohibits trans children from participating in sports and defunds a school or district if they determine they would like to do otherwise. SB 49 bans gender affirming care to minors and discontinues coverage for trans prisoners on Medicaid, essentially stripping trans prisoners of their healthcare.

Call the Gen Laws Committee and tell them to vote in support of HB 327

Currently, a person who was wrongfully convicted and subsequently exonerated through DNA evidence may receive restitution for every day the person was incarcerated for the wrongful conviction. However, the person has no civil cause of action. This bill repeals the language regarding restitution and provides a civil cause of action for any person who was incarcerated for a wrongful conviction, regardless of how that person was subsequently exonerated.
