20 Days to Wisconsin

State Supreme Court ElectionWorried about Walgreen’s decision to not dispense the abortion medication in 21 states where Republican attorneys general have threatened legal action against pharmacies that try to distribute the medication? Well, Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election could decide the future of abortion rights, redistricting, and more in a key battleground state. In 2019, the state Supreme Court election came down to less than 6,000 votes. The court has a 4-3 conservative majority. The April 4 election could flip that dynamic to a liberal-leaning majority.

Citizen Action of Wisconsin

As one of a few social justice groups organizing a deep and multiracial base across Wisconsin, Citizen Action employs a strategy of grassroots organizing, educational programming, earned media, civic engagement, and political lobbying to advance progressive solutions.

Through a highly democratic process, the organization’s membership is backing Judge Janet Protasiewicz, who is running against ultra-MAGA Daniel Kelly for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The organization is picking up the pace and talking directly to voters at their doors and on their phones. Our dollars will help support their efforts to turn out the vote on April 4th.
