BADASS Briefing

5 mins read

Dear Friends,

We are less than a week away from Crossover in the Virginia General Assembly and we have been advocating for our priority issues.  Please continue to take action with the CTA’s (Calls to Action) and share. We need to stay loud letting ALL our representatives know what we want and we will see them at the ballot box!

Once you get through the CTA’s. Please get inspired to hear more about Flipping It Blue and check all the fabulous virtual and in person events.

ALL IN,

Stair

PS It doesn’t really take long to have your voice heard. And we know our efforts make a difference! Please share.

Take Action Early This Week

CTA: Tell Senators on the Commerce and Labor Committee to reject HB1430, allowing large manufacturer exemptions on their electric bills: Tell Senators on the Commerce and Labor Committee to reject HB1430, which has already passed the House. Large manufacturers are asking for special treatment to be exempt from paying costs that the Virginia Clean Economy Act (VCEA) makes all customers pay. More study is needed before creating this type of special carve-out.  Click Here to Take Action
