Ahead of the Michigan Democratic Party’s 2023 Spring Convention in February, it is our duty to nominate delegates to the State Convention Committees (Credentialing, Resolutions, and Rules) and consider resolutions to send to the State Party. The OCDP will convene in January 2023 to select the following delegates:
7th Congressional District
one (1) male member to CREDENTIALING
9th Congressional District
one (1) male alternate to CREDENTIALING
one (1) female member to RESOLUTIONS
one (1) female member to RULES
10th Congressional District
one (1) female alternate to CREDENTIALING
one (1) male alternate to RESOLUTIONS
one (1) female member to RULES
Delegates to the OCDP Convention must be a Precinct Delegate elected on August 2, 2022; OR the Democratic Nominee for County or Legislative Office in the 2022 General Election; OR an established MDP Member as of December 22nd, 2022 (at least 30 days before the County Convention). MDP Membership can be renewed here.
