Georgia On Our Mind
In a resounding win for democracy, Democrats have maintained their Senate majority. With a win in Nevada, the Senate breakdown is now 50-49 – a number that could grow if Sen. Warnock wins his Dec. 6th runoff against Herschel Walker in Georgia.
A win in Georgia and a 51-49 Senate would be a huge victory for Democrats, giving them more leeway to confirm judges, minimize Sens. Manchin and Sinema, and stymie Republican legislation. Control of the House remains up for grabs, with several races yet to be called, but a majority for either party is likely to be thin.
Two years ago we pitched in to get out the vote for the Senate runoffs in Georgia – let’s do it again!
