NEWS & UPDATES

The Midterm Election is Tomorrow

There is just one week left until what will probably be the most important midterm election of our lives, if not the United States’ entire history.

While Indivisible FL-13 is technically a non-partisan organization, it becomes increasingly clear every day that the Democratic Party and its candidates, for all their foibles, is by far the best choice for those who want to preserve the rights and freedoms that we as Americans, until recently took for granted.

With that in mind, I encourage everyone to help the Pinellas Democratic Party to get out the Democratic vote. There are excellent ways to get involved on their web site at:

https://www.pinellasdemocrats.org/take-action

So please, please, please vote and help turn out others to vote in this most critical of elections.

Rides To The Polls

If you know anybody who has trouble getting to the polls Rides2Vote is a group that will give rides to the polls on Election Day.

People can request a ride by calling 888-977-2250, or on the website:

Still… No Room in the Inn Caroling Project

They will begin and end at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 100 Mirror Lake Drive in St. Petersburg, concluding the evening with cookies and hot chocolate.  A “blister bus” will accompany the carolers for those who need assistance.  Please invite friends, family, and groups.

As in past years, Still No Room in the Inn carolers will sing at Lutheran Apartments, Cara House, and the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Baldwin Women’s Residence.
