RALLY FOR EQUAL RIGHTS = REPRO RIGHTS
U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit333 Constitution Ave NWWashington, D.C. 20001

Join us, along with Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, to rally to publish the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) in the U.S. Constitution. The ERA saves abortion and other repro rights! So, now we need to take our respective state fights to the national level. Help us defend Virginia’s 38th State Status! On September 28th, oral arguments will be held at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit where the Office of the Illinois (37th State to ratify) Attorney General will argue on behalf of Americans to mandate that the U.S. National Archivist publish the ERA in the Constitution since all requirements have been met per Article V of our nation’s founding document. This is a ministerial/secretarial obligation laid out in statute which requires the Archivist to publish a duly ratified amendment in the Federal Register. RSVP on FB.

**Calls To Action**

Please pause to take action & share!

TAKE ACTION: Contact your Senators and Senator Schumer to Bring the ERA to the Floor for a Vote BEFORE the Midterms

Call Your Senators NOW: 888-436-6478. Tell them you want fair elections and that they need to pass the DISCLOSE Act!

When you call, here’s what you might say:  “Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME] from [YOUR TOWN]. Over a billion dollars in undisclosed money was spent in the last presidential election. To have fair elections, we must know the identity of political donors. It’s time to require super PACs and secret money groups to make their donors public. Passing the DISCLOSE Act will rein in corporate spending, stop Super PACs from subverting the will of the American electorate, and close secret money loopholes. Will the senator support this important legislation?”

SUPPORT TRUTH IN TEACHING THE HISTORY OF VIRGINIA

Let the VDOE and Governor Youngkin know that we want Virginia History and Social Studies to include a true and complete accounting of our Commonwealth’s history in our History and Social Studies curricula, and want retained in the revised SOL the content that was approved in 2020 by the BOE and that was retained after the official public comment period in 2021. Public comment on the proposed 2022 History & Social Studies Standards of Learning closes September 25th. TAKE ACTION: While individual specific comments may carry more weight, you may also simply write: “I strongly support the SOL for history and social studies, with  the revised content that was approved by the DOE in 2020 and reject any attempt to perpetuate the mythology that the history of enslaved and formerly enslaved Virginians is either divisive or lacking in historical significance.” SUPPORT BILLBOARDS FOR ELAINE LURIA with the Silver Panthers.
