Thursday, September 15th (7pm)
Please attend our September 15 meeting starting at 7 p.m. in the Huntington Woods Library, Lower Level in person or on Zoom. We will be hearing from the MDP Election Protection Director on their need for election day volunteers. Also, we will hear from several of our State and University Board of Education Candidates.
Sunday, September 18th (1pm – 4pm)
The RADC is continuing its tradition of an Annual Picnic for RADC members and Friends. There will be many special guests attending. The RADC is a potluck! After registration, an email will be sent to you with the location and a sign-up to let us know what you would like to bring. See you on the 18th!
Monday, September 26th (6:30pm – 8pm)
“The Detroit Metropolitan area and Oakland County are rich in cultural diversity. This is a perfect fit for the “BIG TENT” Democratic party. This special event will be a townhall and listening session of the Muslim community. The Annual WONder Woman Awards Banquet is next Thursday, September 20th at Regency Manor & Banquet Center. This year’s awardees are the Hon. Brenda Lawrence, Congresswoman representing the 14th District; the Hon. Shelley Taub, Former State Rep. & OC Commissioner; and the Hon. Kathleen Straus, Former President of the Michigan State Board of Education.
