One thing is for certain — this November is going to be a battle up and down the ballot. According to the latest from the Philadelphia Inquirer, voter registration in PA has SKYROCKETED since the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

Thousands more Pennsylvanians are making their plan to cast their ballot this fall and if we dig into the numbers further, 62% of women who have registered since the Dobbs decision have registered as a Democrat, and 54% of those registered are under the age of 25.
This is the moment to fight and win accessible heatlhcare, abortion access, fairly funded public education, and so much more.
I believe that power lies with the people, and where the people lead, our politics should follow. We can and must work together to actualize better cities, better communities, and a better Commonwealth for all of us.
I’m Helen Gym, I’m a second term Philadelphia City Councilmember who spent more than two decades fighting for immigrant justice, quality public schools and for a more just city before ever being elected into office. While I may not be on the ballot this November, our team is hard at work alongside Turn PA Blue to get out the vote for Democrats up and down the ballot and mobilize voters ahead of Election Day.
The only way we will ever truly win for our cities and our communities is by building power together.
Onward to November,
Helen Gym
