Farmington/Farmington Hills Democratic Club: Summer Unity Picnic

Sunday, August 14th (2pm)

We are gathering for another Summer Unity/ Fundraiser Picnic in the backyard of the home of Steven and Michele Artt. The primary election is decided, and our summer fundraiser will help us get the word out for our November election! Instead of our traditional potluck approach, this year the club will provide all the food and drink (you may bring your own beverage.) Let’s say hello in real life for a change, strengthening the club in the process. We’ll be outside, with plenty of space to spread out, and masks are recommended. You can even bring folding chairs to sit apart if you wish. The donations are $20 for adults / $10 for minors. We hope you will join us.

North Oakland Democratic Club: Annual Picnic

Sunday, August 14th (4pm – 7pm)

You won’t want to miss our annual club picnic at Camp Agawam in Orion Township. The picnic is always a “must attend” event. We have an incredible lineup of speakers, including Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter, Oakland County Treasurer Robert Wittenberg, State Senator Rosemary Bayer and many, many more. This is the perfect opportunity to meet with and hear from the candidates who are running for local elections. There are picnic tables, but bring a chair or two and enjoy meeting in person with your NODC pals. The club will provide delicious sandwiches from Mr. Pita, beverages, and snacks.

Birmingham-Bloomfield Dems Club: Monthly Meeting/Education Night

Tuesday, August 16th (socializing at 6:30pm, meeting starts at 7pm)

Join the BBDems for Education Night next Tuesday, August 16th at Bloomfield Township Hall, 4200 Telegraph Road. Erica Peresman from the MDP Voter Protection team will also be speaking about opportunities to help protect the vote in November. MAKE SURE TO BRING PROOF OF VACCINATION! AND WEAR A MASK!

South Lyon Area Dems Club: August MeetingTuesday, August 16th (7pm – 8pm)Let’s build on last month’s enthusiastic club meeting and get together to talk about the upcoming elections, vote on endorsements, and cheer some of the recent Democrat wins! We would love to see everyone in person, but there is a zoom option as well.
