The Southfield/Lathrup Village Democratic Club is hosting a Politics in the Park Forum on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 1-4 pm at Pebble Park, 26300 American Drive, Southfield MI for candidates running for public office that represent Southfield and/or Lathrup Village. Candidates must RSVP to Sharon Person at sharonkelly3434@sbcglobal.net to be placed on the list.

African American Committee: 12th District Congressional Candidates

Monday, July 11th (6:00pm – 7:30pm)

The Oakland County Democratic Party African American Committee has invited the 12th Congressional District democratic candidates to join us for to an important conversation on social injustice and childhood poverty. Help us welcome the candidates and stay for the Q+A session!

Executive Committee Meeting 

Tuesday, July 12th (7:00pm – 9:00pm)

The Executive Committee is next Tuesday, July 12th from 7pm to 9pm at 555 Horace Brown Dr. #1, Madison Heights, MI 48071. The Executive Committee will be taking nominations to fill three vacancies of Officer-at-Large positions, voting on a proposal by the Rules & Bylaws Committee, and taking time for public comment.

Education Subcommittee: School Board Candidates

Friday, July 22nd (6:00pm – 8:00pm)

The Education Subcommittee is calling all democratic candidates running for Oakland County Boards of Education to join our July meeting. Grillin’ with Gretchen in Pontiac

Sunday, July 10th (1:30pm – 4:00pm)

There will be great food and outdoor activities, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer will speak at the event and take Q&A! We strongly encourage you to invite 5-10 of your friends/family to this fantastic event to ensure we can build a great turnout. We kindly request that individuals refrain from posting about the event on social media for security purposes.

Haley Stevens for Congress: LGBTQ Community Canvass in Ferndale

Saturday, July 9th (2:00pm)

Join Haley Stevens and LGBTQ+ Community leaders for a canvass in Ferndale! The Congresswoman will be at the 2 PM launch to talk to voters and to kick off the canvass. There will be yard signs and buttons available!

Detroit: Every Saturday from 3-6pm
Birmingham: Every Tuesday from 3-5pm

Come on out with #TeamPrice to connect with Democratic voters and to let them know more about Natalie’s campaign for State Rep. Training will be provided, and we will canvass in pairs/teams.
