Demand NY Pass the Equality Act

Protect women from the SCOTUS ruling overturning Roe. The NY Legislature’s special session to take up gun safety legislation this Thursday must also include theTheEquality Amendment, which enshrines abortion rights and gender equality in New York’s Constitution.

Demand passage of the Equality Act (A10468A/S8797A) now by calling:

  • Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins – (518) 455-2585
  • Speaker Heastie – (518) 455-3791

If the EA fails to pass during this upcoming special session, the issue won’t go before voters until 2025 – a full year after the presidential cycle. Now is the time to act.
