“One result of today’s decision is certain: the curtailment of women’s rights and of their status as free and equal citizens.”

We must win in November.
“One thing is clear: the fight is just beginning, and the 2022 election will be a battle at the state legislative level. Nothing less than the future of reproductive justice and who is able to maintain control over their own bodies is at stake. The time to act is now. We must leave no stone unturned in our fight to elect pro-choice state legislators.”

Flip the Pennsylvania Legislature!
For now, abortion remains legal for Pennsylvanians. Governor Tom Wolf has been a strong advocate for abortion rights in the state, vetoing several bills passed by the Republican-controlled General Assembly that would further restrict abortion access. Democrats also have a shot at flipping the General Assembly which along with retaining the governorship would further cement women’s reproductive rights. However, if things go the other way, Pennsylvania will look more like the south rather than the northeast.
Join Lean Left in supporting a set of nested state legislative races (one State Senate and three House races) that can change the balance of power in Harrisburg to protect abortion rights, pass gun control legislation and fight for other progressive values. We are supporting two fragile incumbents, who are on the Republican hit list–St Sen Katie Muth and Rep Dan Williams–and two strong challengers, Cathy Spahr and Paul Friel.
