Will the Jan. 6th hearings make a difference?
With mounting evidence that J6 was an organized, well-funded, plotted attempt to overthrow the People’s will, FEWER Americans hold Trump responsible for Jan. 6 now than ever before. According to an NBC poll released Monday, that number is less than 50% of the public.
It is vital we Dems tune in and get loud about J6.The January 6 Committee will start hosting live hearings of testimony and evidence they’ve gathered tomorrow, June 9th, at 8 p.m.,streaming here.
The hearings are based on hundreds of interviews, and thousands of pages of documents. To date, more than 800 rioters have been charged in connection to the Capitol attack.
What is happening in Michigan?
A late May poll showed that candidate Ryan Kelley, who was at the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection, leads his party’s primary race for Michigan governor with 19-percent support. The GOP’s top three contenders heading into the August primary – Kelley, Tudor Dixon, and Garrett Soldano – are all courting Trump’s endorsement.
It is vital we Dems tune in and get loud about Jan. 6th.
The Republican Accountability Project, an organization of conservatives opposed to Trump, released a new ad promoting the hearings (click above to view).
“A lie drove the attack,” the ad states. “Now, it’s time to learn the truth.”
