- They got a permit from the National Park Service and it listed more than half a dozen people who had been paid by Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign
- Megan Powers, Trump’s campaign director of operations, was working for Trump as recently as this month and was listed as director of operations for the rally
- Caroline Wren, the former national finance consultant for Trump Victory, was listed as ‘VIP advisor’ for the rally
- Maggie Mulvaney, the director of finance operations for the Trump campaign, was listed on the permit attachment as the ‘VIP Lead’ for the rally
- Justin Caporale was listed as the event’s project manager. He’s the former top aide to Melania Trump and was on payroll for most of 2020
