Whole Home Repairs Rally

Join Senator Nikil Saval, Representative Innamorato, Senator Argall, Senator Hughes, Make the Road, PA Stands Up, POWER, Housing Alliance, and more on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:45 am on the steps of the Capitol in Harrisburg to rally to pass the Whole-Home Repairs Act (SB1135).

Winning Whole-Home Repairs will mean:
– Funding home repairs and weatherization so our neighbors can afford to stay safely in their homes
– Creating a one-stop-shop to make it simple for people to access the help they need.
– Investing in the creation of local jobs and making sure our neighbors have the training they need to obtain these family-sustaining jobs in a growing industry.

Public School Funding Day of Action

On May 24th, advocates will be coming to Harrisburg, making phone calls to their legislators from home, and posting on social media to demonstrate strong public support for Governor Wolf’s funding proposal to provide a $1.75 billion increase in funding for our public schools.

Instead of investing in our children, some lawmakers want to hoard billions of dollars in surplus cash in Harrisburg or give it away to special interests and continue to impose austerity on our public schools. They are happy to force property tax increases, cuts in programs and services for students, and yet another year of grossly inadequate resources in our schools.
