I hope you saw the launch announcement of the 6th Annual Women’s Summit, ALL IN to Win Virginia, last week. I encourage you to get your tickets (starting at $10 for students ) now, so we can all be enthused, informed and effective as we work together towards our elections in November and every November! We want to connect with you and others as far and wide across Virginia as possible.  We have some exciting updates on the June NoVA gathering, the first of our three fabulous festivals.

There are several upcoming exciting events which will help get us get our candidates elected in 2022 and beyond.

Every year, we do something new, different, and unexpected at the Women’s Summit. This year we recognize the urgency of investing in deepening the blue foundation for organizing and sustaining the grassroots work across Virginia. For the 6th Annual Women’s Summit it’s a festival of celebration and determination! Join the festivities in-person and/or virtually through the new ALL IN to Win Virginia online community.

The All IN to Win festivals will energize, activate, and get us ready to win this November and beyond! Each of the 3 in-person events begin on Friday evening with a community mixer. Saturday is the Festival with a Main Stage Program, inspirational speakers, entertainment, learning, sharing, alliance building, and an Advocacy Fair. The programming for each location will highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the region through speakers and their approach to the issues we share.

  • Northern Virginia (Annandale & Herndon): June 24-25
  • Shenandoah Valley (Waynesboro & Nellysford): August 12-13
  • Tidewater/757 (Virginia Beach): September 16-18

NOVA  June 24-25:


On Friday, June 24, 6:30pm we will be at Rowan Tree located in Herndon, VA. Rowan Tree is a beautiful, productive in-person workspace founded by partners of the Women’s Summit, Kate Viggiano Janich and Amy Dagliano. Join us to get social, meet new friends, connect with old friends and hear from community leaders on issues impacting our basic freedoms from free speech to protecting women’s rights. School Board members from Loudoun County will be present. We will have music, lite appetizers, wine & sparkling water.


On Saturday, June 25, 9 am – 2pm we will be at the Ernst Community Cultural Center located at NOVA’s Community College in Annandale. Our ALL IN TO WIN FESTIVAL will include an Advocacy Fair, Networking NOSH with Lunch, Take Action Areas, and the ALL IN Stage. The ALL IN Stage will be an engaging, uplifting, inspiring program that will include Congressional candidates, various speakers on the issues. A highlight of our ALL IN Stage will be our favorites singer songwriters Crys Matthews & Heather Mae performing and keeping the vibe alive!

Please join Virginia Redress Network’s bi-weekly meeting to learn what  progress Virginians are making on restitution and the many issues relating to racial and social justice.

Statewide SCOTUS Info Session with Planned Parenthood Advocacy of Virginia

Join a statewide information session and learn about the Supreme Court decision that could change access to abortion across the nation. The Jackson Women’s Health Organization v. Dobbs case will be decided this summer, and the landmark Roe v. Wade case that cemented abortion rights will likely be overturned. Come hear about what the importance of this case, what this could mean for abortion rights across the nation and in Virginia, and what you can do to help.

Activism Training – Instagram for You and Your Group – Thurs, May 19, 5:00 PM

Massachusetts Grassroots Information Center (MAGIC) is partnering with Swing Left to get you and your group started on Instagram – where you can attract a more diverse audience. In this beginners’ session:

  • Check out a local group that is using Instagram effectively
  • Introduce (or re-introduce) yourself or your group to Instagram the right way
  • Learn how to post effectively at a rally or other event

Delegates Sally Hudson and David Reid are looking forward to speaking with everyone in attendance about the need for diverse representation to ensure the work of the people is prioritized and accomplished.
