Join us for our IL-01 Candidates Forum to be held in Hyde Park at the First Unitarian Church from 6:00-9:00 pmMonday, May 23. You’ll hear from Democratic candidates running in the June primary, hoping to win the seat currently held by retiring Rep. Bobby Rush. Register here.

This Hyde Park forum is being organized by Indivisible Chicago-South Side. Candidates appearing in the forum will meet the criteria of being registered with the Federal Elections Commission and certified by the Illinois State Board of Elections to appear on the Democratic primary ballot. Register here.

Submit a Question

We want to let all the candidates know what issues the community most wants to hear about. And some candidates will have the opportunity to answer specific questions in depth.

That’s where YOU come in, right now. Please use this form to submit a question about the issue or issues you care about. And feel free to share the URL for the question form (bit.ly/May23ForumQu) with friends or family who live in the 1st district!
