Help Elect Cynthia for Yolo DA

2 mins read

Please join us from 4:00-6:00pm this Sunday, May 1, Sunday, May 15, and every Wednesday in May to call voters and help Indivisible Yolo make certain that  Cynthia Rodriguez is elected on June 7th as the new Yolo County District Attorney.

Register on Mobilize – and please invite any friends who are concerned about racial justice.

We have great news: This Sunday from 4-6p Cynthia will be joining us to talk about why this is such an important race and to describe her vision before we begin making calls.  Many of you are not new to making pro-democracy calls like this, but if you are, we will have a team in place to walk you through the script and simple technical details.  Together, let’s do our part to advance racial justice in Yolo County.

So far our team has made 1408 calls and had 108 conversations with Yolo County voters.  This week we want to make at least 1,000 calls — can you help us reach our goal?

Jeff Reisig, the current DA, is a “law and order” DA masquerading as a progressive innovator.  The sad truth is that Reisig’s approach to criminal justice reform is to be more of a PR machine than an innovator, as he oversees a Yolo County law enforcement community that charges our Black residents at a rate that is more than five times their population.

Cynthia Rodriguez is the only Democrat in the race. She has over 40 years of legal experience, both prosecuting and defending cases, including at the State Office of Corrections; she is running to champion common-sense criminal justice reforms, uplift victims and increase public safety.

3 More Ways to Get Involved:

  • Learn more about Cynthia Rodriquez here:
  • We have lawn signs for Cynthia! Email us at if you’d like one.
  • Share your passion for Cynthia for DA via a letter to the editor of your local paper. Letters to the Editor are a powerful way to support a candidate. Info here.

Hope to see you on Sunday; Remember to register on Mobilize
