Come learn how you can canvass, call, text, and postcard to mobilize Nevada voters, starting with events this month.

Sunday April 10th at 4 pm: Rally and Phone Bank for Cynthia Rodriguez

Please join us for a zoom rally and phone bank on Sunday April 10th at 4 pm to help elect Indivisible Yolo’s endorsed candidate, Cynthia Rodriguez for Yolo County District Attorney on June 7th.

It’s time to replace our DA who espouses “accountability and compassion” while pursuing programs that lack both empathy and effectiveness. Our local organizing team and guest speaker, Supervisor Don Saylor, will explain the issues and unpack the platforms of both candidates. We will tell you about our fun plan to make calls and get out the vote by canvassing.

Friday, April 8 at 6pm: Fundraiser for Cynthia Rodriguez at Running Rivers Wine Cellar

Yolo People Power shared this fundraising event with us, and we’re happy to share it with all our Indivisible Yolo members who want to support our endorsed candidate for DA, Cynthia Rodriguez:

“Join Cynthia and co-hosts Lupita Torres, Josh Jones, Norma Alcala, NJ Mvondo, Melissa Moreno and the Davis College Democrats for a West Davis fundraiser at Running Rivers Wine Cellar. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

We are happy to be supporting a local, native-owned business. Join us for a great evening and to support Cynthia’s vision for transforming the criminal justice system in Yolo County.

Ticket will include one glass of wine and appetizers

RSVP and Purchase Tickets:

This will be an outdoor event, but mask use is encouraged and welcome.”

Finally, a short update: We’re glad to share that one of the items in Indivisible’s “Let’s Go Joe” campaign, asking President Biden to end Trump-era restrictions on asylum seekers applying for protection, was successful! The Biden administration announced that Title 42 will be lifted on May 23.
