Pennsylvania: Thanks to a fairer map, Democrats have a real shot at the state legislature! We can also flip a Senate seat, retain the governorship and win Congressional seats. Given the Dems prospects, Republicans are pushing back hard, but so are PA Dems. This week’s priority actions:
- Recruit volunteers & learn what is on voters’ minds. This action happens every Wed and Thurs.
North Carolina: Talking directly to voters is one of the most important things we can do as activists! Get up to speed with this week’s priority action:
- On Thursday make community outreach calls with Rep. Brian Farkas (training provided)
Wisconsin:WI has four elections this year! And while dumping Ron Johnson would be lovely, we must retain the governorship and make headway in the state legislature and down-ballot. Priority actions this week:
- On Tues and Thurs, help the Brown County Dems mobilize voters for the Feb 15th primary and urge them to sign up for mail ballots for all of the elections.
New Hampshire: Flipping the House by 15 to 17 representatives is critical to stopping legislation that will make it much harder to fill nonpartisan election positions, such as the Supervisor of the Checklist. These offices determine who votes and who doesn’t.
- Join the NH Dems in calling past Voter Protection volunteers to sign them up to volunteer in 2022! Training included!

Help Turn PA BlueIn 2020, Pennsylvania turned blue at the Presidential level! In 2022, there is much at stake from a flippable Senate seat, retaining the Governorship and the first real shot in 10 years, thanks to fairly drawn maps, at retaking the state legislature! |
The key grassroots organization to make this happen, from the bottom of the ballot up, is Turn PA Blue. Check out the Pennsylvania Briefing Sheet for more information about this battleground state. |

Good Trouble Cafes + Giving Circles
Add Up to a Stronger Movement

Judy Cyprian of Plainfield reported that her Spruce Mountain Giving Circle has expanded into a Good Trouble Cafe. “We met in person on June 24. It was great! We had snacks and wine and spent time checking in with each other, discussing the current political issues, and sharing information about supporting the Giving Circle recipients for the month. Getting together over zoom or in person has been a source of support for most of us, as well as a place to re-energize and bond in our work to strengthen democracy.”
