Friends,

ICYMI: New Billboard Thanks President Biden for American Rescue Plan, Slams Senators Blunt and Hawley for Opposing Checks for Missourians
Yesterday, Democrats rolled out a new billboard in Springfield reminding voters of President Biden’s efforts to pass crucial relief funding for Missourians, including checks of up to $1,400 per person — as well as Senator Blunt’s and Senator Hawley’s efforts to stand in their way even in the middle of the pandemic. The Democratic passage of the American Rescue Plan is popular nationwide, delivering funds to get shots in arms, re-open schools, and help families pay bills, and this new billboard on I-44 will remind Missourians who had their backs.
From the Springfield News-Leader: Democrats slam Josh Hawley, Roy Blunt on I-44 billboard for opposing Joe Biden’s aid bill
The Democratic National Committee is looking to highlight the benefits of President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus bill — and remind Springfieldians that their Republican senators opposed it.
For the next month, people driving on Interstate 44 west of Kansas Expressway will see a billboard that reads “Help is here” with a list of three popular provisions of Biden’s first legislative accomplishment as president: $1,400 direct payments, money for vaccine distribution, and aid for school reopening.
