Republicans Stealing an Election

1 min read

Last week in the PA State Senate, Republicans refused to seat duly elected Democratic State Sen. Jim Brewster, leaving the seat vacant.

We’re outraged, but we’re not surprised, as we also saw multiple Pennsylvania Republicans in Congress try to overturn the Presidential election on Wednesday.

At Turn PA Blue, we’re resolved more than ever to defend our democracy against stolen elections.
In 2020, TPAB volunteers wrote 1 million+ postcards, made 4 million+ calls, and raised $800,000+ for Democrats up and down the ballot to win this critical swing state. Now, we’re demanding that the PA State Senate seat Jim Brewster.

As Georgia showed us, when progressives invest in year-round organizing in key swing states, we can WIN! Can you donate to Turn PA Blue’s work today?

Sen. Jim Brewster won the election for PA’s 45th State Senate District, 66,291 votes to 66,192 votes.
The votes were cast, counted, recounted, and certified. Republicans sued in state and federal court. They lost.
Now, PA Republicans are hoping that a frivolous lawsuit to disenfranchise hundreds of voters will help them steal this seat.

We’re not backing down. Thousands of Turn PA Blue activists have already contacted their State Senators demanding Brewster be seated, and that’s just the beginning.

We’re tired of Republicans trying to cheat their way to power. Donate to help Turn PA Blue organize a big swing state!

Thanks for standing up.
