It’s close to two weeks since the election was called for Biden and the outgoing president still hasn’t conceded nor has the GSA administrator signed off on transition papers. While COVID rages throughout the country, the Biden-Harris administration is being denied access to transition funds and pertinent information and Trump is either playing golf or attempting to get state officials to overturn the election results. So pretty much same old, same old. But at least we know real change is coming. We just need to hold out another 60 days . . .
Even when Biden takes up residence in the Oval Office (after a good fumigation, of course), we have a lot of work to do, from doubling down on activism to finding our way back to decency and dignity. But despite the most recent headaches and horror, we hope you will always take heart in the knowledge that the will of the people won out!
