Tips on contacting the State Board of Canvassers re: the 2020 election:

  • Address your letter to each individual canvasser and send a separate email to each one.
  • Please customize the email to reflect your thoughts
  • Be polite. Being rude or dismissive is not a great way to convince people to support your issue.
  • Have your friends, family members, or neighbors repeat this process

Dear Canvasser _______ ,

I’m writing to you as a concerned Michigan voter. The foundation of our democracy is under attack by individuals seeking to overturn the will of the people. Joe Biden won Michigan by more than 146,000 votes, which is over 14 times the margin of victory by which Donald Trump won Michigan in 2016.

In addition, Michigan’s courts have not found any credible evidence supporting any allegations that fraudulent voting occurred. The counting of legal ballots was done in accordance with the law, and the results were undeniably in Joe Biden’s favor.

It is your duty as a public official to honor the will of Michigan voters by upholding and certifying the results of the 2020 November General Election. A failure to uphold the will of the people of Michigan can potentially result in not only a Constitutional crisis, but the undermining of our democracy.

Do your duty. Certify the election and uphold the law!
