Big News in the Governor’s Race
New polling out this week shows Nicole Galloway down by just 2 points against Gov. Parson! She is exactly the leader we need, and she’s running a strong race that’s closed the gap from double digits down to well within the margin of error.
We know this race will come down to a razor-thin margin. Help us make sure we have the resources to reach every single voter when it matters most. Make a $5 grassroots contribution today!
Have You Made A Plan to Vote?
In-person absentee voting is open until 5PM on Nov. 2nd in every county across the state!
Visit your local Board of Elections or County Clerk’s office during their normal business hours – generally 8AM – 5PM Monday through Friday. Click here to double check the address and hours and then head to the voting booth on Monday morning!
Qualified excuses include: being away on Election Day, being a caregiver to an incapcitated person, having contracted COVID or being in an at-risk category for contracting COVID, amongst others.
If you’re voting by mail, remember to mark your ballot, read the instructions carefully, sign anything that needs to be signed, and return it ASAP.
If your plan is to vote on Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd – know what time you’ll go beforehand. There is tremendous interest in this election. If you can vote absentee in-person or by mail, go ahead and get it out of the way!
Nicole Galloway Dominated in Friday’s Debate!
Nicole Galloway made a commanding case why she should be elected Governor in the only debate Mike Parson would agree to yesterday afternoon. Pointing out his huge failures on COVID, the economy, healthcare, and Medicaid expansion, the Governor was plain unprepared and unable to answer for his decisions and inaction over the past two years. Go Nicole!

Volunteers Are Our Secret Weapon
We’ve already made thousands of phone calls, had thousands of one-on-one conversations, sent thousands of text messages, and have safely hit thousands of doors, but we need to do more.
Sign up right now and hit the pavement, the phones, and the keyboard THIS WEEKEND!
Last Chance to Show Off Your Politics With Pride before Election Day!
You can wear your support, drink out of it, or put it on your wall –– each way, you’re helping Democrats while doing it. Check out the MDP merch store! Order by October 13th to guarantee delivery before the election!
Candidate Recruitment Begins Again!
Municipal elections in the spring of 2021 will be here before you know it! The filing deadline for the general municipal election is January 19, 2021, so MDP is partnering with “Contest Every Race” to recruit Democrats to run for small, local offices like school board.
Outreach will begin on November 14th to start recruiting for these races. Our point-of-contact with Contest Every Race, Gracie Fleming, will be contacting County Chairs over the next few weeks to talk about this process!
Voting Questions? Visit ShowMeVotes.com
Showmevotes.com has all the info you need to request an absentee ballot, check out all the candidates up and down the ballot, and make a plan to vote! October may be a spooky month, but nothing’s scarier than missing your chance to make a difference.
Census Deadline Coming Up
The U.S. Census is crucial to our democracy, ensuring everything from fair representation of our state in the House to where our children go to school. Make sure you and your friends and family help us improve the lives of Missourians directly with your census response!
Send in your Reorganization Forms!
If you are an officer for a county, legislative, senatorial, or congressional district committee, and you haven’t sent in your reorganization form yet, please send it to TLogan@missouridems.org.
