November General Membership Meeting
November 7, 9:30 a.m.
The November General Membership Meeting will include a brief presentation from Larry Kestenbaum, the Washtenaw County Clerk. This will be followed by a motion to consider proposed bylaw changes. Only people who register and have their MDP membership confirmed will be able to participate in this General Membership meeting. Register for this meeting here.
Participants will need to have been a member of the Michigan Democratic Party for at least 30 days. That means you have to join the MDP today. (There is a free option near the bottom.) Precinct Delegates, Democratic elected officials, Democratic nominees to partisan offices, and individuals whose membership lapsed inside the 30-day window are exempt from the advance membership requirement. However, those individuals must be members in order to vote and may join or renew the same day as the meeting.

November 23, 6:00 p.m.
The WCDP will hold a County Convention on Monday, November 23 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The purpose of this Convention will be to choose members of the new Executive Committee. In order to vote in this convention, you will need to have been a member of the Michigan Democratic Party for 30 days (i.e., by October 24). Precinct Delegates, Democratic elected officials, Democratic nominees to partisan offices, and individuals whose membership lapsed inside the 30-day window are exempt from the advance membership requirement. However, those individuals must be members in order to vote and may join or renew the same day as the convention.
An official Call to Convention along with a Zoom registration link will be issued closer to the date of the Convention which will detail the proportional voting method that will be used for selecting members of the Executive Committee. Within 30 days of their selection, the Executive Committee will convene and choose the statutory officers and other members of the Executive Board for 2021-2022. October General Membership Meeting
The last General Membership meeting was held on October 3 at 9:30 a.m. This meeting included a report from the Precinct Organizing Committee, a report from the Party Chair, an update from Gretchen Driskell (candidate for the 7th Congressional District), comments from Yousef Rabhi (State Rep., 53rd District), a message from Debbie Dingell (US House Rep., 12th District), an election update from Larry Kestenbaum (Washtenaw County Clerk), and an update from Tom Kelly on the Biden/Harris campaign. Housing Access Forum

Precinct Organizing Committee Update
