Shut Up and Do

Imagine January 20, 2021.  You have a new president and new U.S. Senate majority leader.  How are you feeling?  It’s 86 days until the election of our time.

This is a call to those of you who have been meaning to write those VoteFwd letters, those who just signed up to write Reclaim Our Vote postcards, or whatever else to save our county this November.  This will be a zoom meeting, but we’ll be muted most of the time. During that “quiet” time we’ll be working on those BlueWave tasks that are on our To Do lists to turnout votes in swing states for Biden and Democratic candidates this November.

Helen Stewart, one of our Indivisible members, has participated in similar sessions for writers. She’s found that she accomplishes more writing during the one-hour session than she does during the entire week. Nothing like a little peer pressure!

Come with a goal of what you want to accomplish in 60 minutes.  Be sure to be prepared with your printed letters,  Texas ROV postcards,  glass of wine, or whatever else you need to dedicate 60 minutes of your time to work.

We will kick off the meeting, then spend 60 minutes doing our individual tasks and then debrief for 15 minutes.  You will also have a chance to ask questions in breakout rooms.

Register here to receive your unique link to join this zoom meeting, next Sunday, August 16th, at NOON.

Your donation will help purchase postcards and postage – no letter will be left behind!  Thank you.

with Aloha,
Ed, Gil, Helen, Keith, Lani, Martha, and Younghee
