Fire Destroys Maricopa Dems HQ

1 min read

Your Democratic party partners in Phoenix has suffered a devastating blow last night.

We stand in solidarity with the Maricopa Democratic Party and the Arizona Democratic Party.

We will do everything we can to support a quick recovery.

We are even more resolved and together we will rise stronger than ever!

John Lutes – Yavapai County Democratic Party Chair

As many of you learned this morning the building housing both the Maricopa County Democratic Party and the Arizona Democratic Party Headquarters, burned early Friday morning. Fortunately, no one was in the building and no lives were lost.

Unfortunately, the Maricopa County Democratic Party side of the building was completely destroyed. MCDP lost computers, phone banking equipment, tablets, office equipment, and supplies. An investigation of this incident is underway to determine the cause of the fire.

While the loss of MCDP headquarters is a blow, it will not impact the work of Democrats to turn our county and state blue. We will not be deterred.

If you are able, please donate to the Maricopa County Democratic Party to help replace critical items and keep the county party running smoothly.  You can donate by clicking here:
