(6/4 – Update) Ventura CountyGovernment Center, 800 S. Victoria, corner of Victoria and Telegraph  (12-5pm). Masks and social distancing required.


Mon 6/8: Agoura Hills – Peaceful Protest for George Floyd

(6/6 – Update) Kanan Road & T.O. Blvd. (4 pm)


Mon 6/8: Ventura – Candlelight Vigil for George Floyd


Tues 6/9:  Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks – March & candlelight vigil to mark George Floyd’s funeral.

Organized by Women United for Change. Gather at the Westlake & Thousand Oaks Boulevards at 6:30; march begins about 7 p.m. to the Civic Arts Plaza. Bring a sign & a battery-operated candle.

Script #1: Please grant Victoria Galindo’s June 1st stay of removal application. Allowing her to remain with her family. She is an essential worker who is valued by her community.

Script #2: “I want to ask the Senator/Asm to do what Senators Wiener and Gonzalez have already done and donate all contributions they’ve received for their re-election campaigns from law enforcement unions to community organizations—ideally those helping people of color or at-risk youth. Those Senators have also pledged to not accept contributions from law enforcement unions going forward. I want the Senator/Assemblymember to do the same. We will be keeping tabs. Thanks.”
