You Count ✅: Vote Safe, Stay safe: A Vote-By-Mail Roundtable

For 20 years, Florida Republicans used vote by mail ballots to take an early lead in every election and make sure their votes, not ours, counted. They realized early on that voters who choose to receive vote-by-mail ballots end up voting far more often than anybody else. And now that Democrats have started voting by mail in larger numbers, the Republicans, led by the liar in chief, have started shouting that it’s unsafe and leads to fraud. But President Trump—who voted by mail just two months ago—let slip the real reason why Republicans are suddenly up in arms, telling Fox News that if Democrats were successful in passing voting reforms like universal Vote-By-Mail, “you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”
But we’re not going to give the vote-by-mail edge to the Republicans: not this time, and not ever again. That’s why the leaders of the Democratic Black Caucus of Miami Dade, the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida Miami-Dade Chapter, the Democratic Haitian American Caucus of Florida, and the South Dade Black Caucus – Ron Brown Chapter have come together to ensure that every Democratic voter in Miami-Dade knows how to vote safe and stay safe, making sure they’re ready to vote-by-mail and know that every ballot gets where it’s going and gets counted.
Do you have questions about Vote-By-Mail? Are you worried about sending your ballot through the mail? Do you know someone who thinks it’s just not safe? Then bring your Democratic friends and join these community leaders and our voting experts for this special online event. It’s easy if we’re ready, and if we’re ready, we win.
