The catastrophic effects of climate change are becoming more evident by the day, and we’re running out of time to limit the long-term effects.
2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, along with the most important presidential election of our lifetimes.

This year on Earth Day, the Climate Strike movement will stage a massive three-day strike.
On Wednesday, April 22, we launch one of the most powerful civic actions for environmental protection in history. It will provide an opportunity to listen to Indigenous peopleās wisdom and reflect on our connections to this earth.
On Thursday, April 23, we focus on community action, with voter registration drives and events occurring across the country. Youth on college campuses will also be demanding their schools divest from fossil fuels, while adults will target financial institutions to do the same.
On Friday, April 24, we strike again, for another day of collective power and unity, with millions of youth leaving school and work to take to the streets across thousands of events across the world.
