Metairie Indivisible Call of the Day Wednesday January 15, 2020

1 min read

Call the Senate:

Tell the SENATE you want two things:

Regarding Iran- You demand Congressional approval for any use of military force in Iran, and to support War Powers Resolution S.J. Res. 63- which “requires that any hostilities with Iran must be explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or specific authorization for use of military force,” thereby preventing the president from bypassing Congress unless under the threat of imminent attack.

Regarding IMPEACHMENT – Tell the Senate you want a fair and public Impeachment trial with key witnesses. (According to an unprecedented “crackdown on the Capitol press corp will be unleashed during the Senate Impeachment trial.”) The public must be able to observe this trial because it involves our president and national security. Allow the press to cover the trial.

  • Sen. Bill Cassidy – DC OFFICE: (202) 224-5824 and METAIRIE OFFICE: (504) 838-0130
  • Sen. John Kennedy: DC OFFICE: (202) 224-4623 and NEW ORLEANS OFFICE (504) 581-6190
