In early December the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) will meet in Madrid to discuss how to strengthen the Paris Climate Accord.
Taking place from 2 to 16 December in Madrid, the Conference comes at a time when new data shows the climate emergency is getting worse every day, and is impacting people’s lives everywhere, whether from extreme heat, air pollution, wildfires, intensified flooding or droughts.United Nations
During the conference, organizers are planning a massive global climate strike for Friday, December 6.
On December 6th, as world leaders gather at the UN’s annual climate conference, young people across America will join a national #ClimateStrike to take the momentum from September to our elected officials’ doorsteps... On December 6th, we’ll show up at the offices of our political leaders and ask them, are you ready to stand with our generation and fight for a Green New Deal?Sunrise Movement
