Hotline Operators: Voter Transportation Project
Our friends at the Voter Transportation Project are running a statewide campaign to get voters to the polls, free-of-charge through Lyft. There are fellow voters in PA who will not vote this year because they cannot afford to get to the polls or do not have public transit available where they live. VTP arranges round-trip rides to the polls, covering the entire cost! Can you help answer the Voter Transportation Project hotline calls? You will be answering calls and collecting voters’ info & availability, then setting up rides to the polls! There are many shifts available now through Tuesday 11/5 and no experience is necessary! Each shift begins with a training session!

POST-ELECTION CANVASS MONITORS
The ACLU is seeking volunteers to help with the important work that takes place after the election between the dates of November 8-12, during the “official canvass, which is the process by which each County Boards of Elections (BOE) checks the results from each voting precinct for accuracy. The BOE then compiles all of the ballots from each voting method to compute the results for each race on the ballot, which must be certified by the state. This work is apolitical but increasing threats to election integrity require additional monitoring to ensure a free and fair election for all PA Voters.
