Field Team 6 is holding multiple text banks every Saturday and other days of the week as well between now and the election reaching out to unregistered likely Democrats in key swing states urging them to register now and vote for Democrats. Field Team 6 also has continuous texting using our own homemade platform BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone plan). A training is held every Thursday at 3 pm PT and some Saturdays at 10 am PT, the training covers the setup requirements for your computer and also the texting process. Once set up, you can text anytime between 9am – 9 pm in the time zone you’re texting. We’re reaching out to unregistered likely Democrats in key House Districts that we think can be flipped blue and asking people to register to vote and vote for Democrats. For our children and their children, let’s do all we can to fight the climate crisis, rampant gun violence, and attacks on LGBTQ+ communities, by protecting and supporting a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate.

Are you registered to vote?
If our votes aren’t impactful, why are MAGA lawmakers working so hard to keep us from voting?
Voter suppression is a longstanding problem that undermines democratic freedoms in many countries, even in established democracies. Some people try to discourage or prevent others from exercising their legitimate right to vote, often targeting legally protected demographic groups.
Since Trump’s loss in the 2020 election, and his constant lies falsely claiming the election was “stolen” from him, elected members of his MAGA cult in 48 states have introduced more than 400 anti-voter bills, of which more than half aim to limit access to mail-in voting. Some U.S. states have implemented strict voter ID laws that deliberately and disproportionately affect people of color, seniors, physically challenged people, young people, and low income voters.
Voter suppression laws may limit early voting, close or relocate polling places in “certain communities,” and involve deliberately spreading misinformation about voting procedures or election dates to trick potential voters.
Texas recently purged one million voters from its rolls, mostly based on fake claims or technicalities such as punctuation. In Georgia, lawmakers made it a crime to provide food and water to voters standing in line at the polls — lines that are notoriously long, especially for communities of color. Georgia also created a website to give anyone the ability to cancel someone else’s voter registration!
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton did not stop his voter suppression efforts at purging one million people from voter rolls. Right-wing extremists are doing all they can to cheat their way to power.
Appallingly, in August 2024, 87-year-old San Antonio resident Lidia Martinez, a long-time member of the esteemed Hispanic civil rights organization LULAC working to expand voter registration, was awakened in the early morning by nine police officers of the Texas Gestapo. They were dressed in tactical gear, carrying guns and a search warrant. Martinez was forced to remain in her nightgown and not allowed to get dressed.
For the next three hours, Martinez was questioned about her voter registration efforts in Texas. Several other Hispanic activists were harassed similarly. Their computers and cell phones were confiscated supposedly for use as evidence of participation in voter fraud. LULAC has called on the Justice Department to investigate these illegal voter intimidation tactics.
As civil rights icon Heather Booth says of such right-wing extremism: “There are more of us than there are of them.” “We the People” must vote in such large numbers that the validity of election outcomes cannot be successfully challenged.

Our choice for president in November is going to be between deranged and confused, convicted felon Trump, who is guilty of trying to become a dictator by conspiring to overturn the 2020 election, versus Kamala Harris, who, as vice president in the Biden-Harris Administration and Congressional tie-breaker, has achieved so much on addressing gun violence and providing mental health resources in schools via the STOP School Violence Act, advancing maternal health research and healthcare, supporting job creation and combating violence to slow migration to the U.S. with her Central America Forward initiative, obtaining $7 billion in new commitments from the private sector to promote climate resilience, adaptation and mitigation across Africa, lifting children out of poverty, and so much more.
In addition to being a malevolent narcissist, racist, sexist, misogynistic and a dictator wannabe, how do we know Trump is “deranged and confused”?
Some recent examples:
In a recent speech, Trump confused Barack Obama with President Biden, first saying he was “leading by a lot” against Obama.” (Obviously, Obama is not running in 2024.) Trump also bizarrely claimed that Biden would get the United States into “World War II,” apparently meaning to say World War III.
During a speech in New Hampshire, Trump appeared confused about which country Viktor Orban is the president of. He told the audience: “There’s a man — Viktor Orban — anybody ever hear of him?…He’s the leader of Turkey.” Actually, Orban is the leader of Hungary. It’s especially telling because Trump knows Orban well and has a long history of praising the fascist dictator. Trump also said that Orban’s nation shares a border with Russia. In fact, neither Hungary nor Turkey do.
Let’s spread the word about Trump’s unfitness to hold power.
