ARE WOMEN “CRAZY” FOR PROTECTING THEIR RIGHTS?
Progressive stalwart Senator Sherrod Brown is fighting to keep his seat in Ohio against Republican businessman Bernie Moreno. Moreno has made it clear this week he has a lot in common with the other Ohio senator in his contempt for women, deriding them for standing up for reproductive rights and suggesting it was “a little crazy” that women over 50 still care about this issue. Moreno has also claimed the Founding Fathers would “murder you” for backing abortion access. Let’s sign up to join Grassroots Democrats HQ in phonebanking to help beat Moreno, protect Sherrod Brown and hold the Senate majority on Tuesdays and Wednesdays here.

LET’S HELP GET OUT THE VOTE FOR SENATOR TESTER
Along with Senator Brown, another key to keeping the Senate is ensuring Sen. Jon Tester of Montana is re-elected. Tester, a three-time incumbent, is struggling in that bright red state. He is well-liked and has done well by Montana citizens, but the fear that the right is peddling is taking a toll. His campaign needs our help. WHITE NATIONALIST THINKS WE SHOULDN’T FEAR PROUD BOYS
Joe Kent, a Republican candidate in one of the reddest House seats currently held by Democrats in Washington State, was recently caught on tape dismissing the threat of the Proud Boys, suggesting it’s just a left-wing scare tactic and mentioning they’re “the guys who went and fought antifa.” This is par for the course with Kent, who has deep ties with white nationalists and other right-wing extremists, frequently warns against the dangers of antifa and the “radical trans agenda” and has pushed conspiracy theories about January 6th and COVID. Yet incumbent Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is still vulnerable. Let’s help her out! We can sign up to phonebank with her campaign here.

PHONEBANK TO REACH YOUNG VOTERS IN SWING STATES
SunrisePAC, the youth-led environmental movement, has already reached out to almost 350,000 young voters in swing states urging them to vote for the Harris/Walz ticket. They need people *of all ages* to continue reaching out and have set up virtual phone banks at various times on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays all the way up until the election.
