Congratulations to our Democratic Nominees for Statewide Office

3 mins read

Friends, we are thrilled to announce and celebrate the success of our Democratic candidates in last night’s statewide primary election! We proudly acknowledge the dedication and courage of every candidate who stepped up to seek nomination; your commitment to Missourians is truly inspiring.

For over two decades, Missouri Republicans have held majorities and supermajorities in our state legislature, leaving our families worse off. Missouri families are tired of the GOP’s endless politicizing of issues aimed solely at boosting their campaigns, all while neglecting the real needs of our communities.

Missouri Democrats are energized heading into the November general election season and have a powerful message to draw a strong contrast between our vision for our communities and the Missouri Republicans platform of dysfunction: Get the politics out of our personal lives and get to work for Missouri.

We are excited to support our statewide slate of Democratic candidates as we make our case to Missourian voters.

  • US Senate Candidate Lucas Kunce, a 13-year Marine veteran, born and raised in Missouri, running to replace extremist Josh Hawley.
  • Gubernatorial Candidate Crystal Quade, the first in her family to graduate high school and the sitting Missouri State House Minority Leader seeking to continue her fight for Missouri families to the Governor’s mansion.
  • Lieutenant Governor Candidate Richard Brown, a sitting state representative, lifelong Missourian, and retired public school teacher running to bring common sense to the Lieutenant Governor’s office.
  • Attorney General Candidate Elad Gross, a proven government transparency attorney and former Assistant Attorney General running to sue scammers, protect our families, and crush corruption.
  • Secretary of State Candidate Barbara Phifer, a pastor for more than 40 years and sitting state representative running to protect Missouri elections, keep Missouri businesses opening, and support Missouri’s public libraries. Candidate for State Treasurer Mark Osmack, a US Army combat veteran from a Fenton trailer park running to keep Missouri’s money in Missouri.

Congratulations once again to our remarkable candidates. Onward to victory in November!
