Return Your Early Ballot Now
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The Coconino County Recorder’s Office reminds early voters that voted early ballots must be received no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day, July 30. Early voters that are returning their voted early ballot by USPS mail should mail it no later than Tuesday, July 23 to ensure that it is received in time to be counted.
Voted early ballots may be dropped off in one of the ballot-drop boxes or at any of the Early Voting sites in the county. For a list of Early Voting Sites or the locations of the ballot-drop boxes visit the Coconino County Recorder’s office website at www.coconino.az.gov/elections.
On Election Day, Tuesday, July 30, Coconino County early voters may drop off their voted early ballots at any Coconino County polling place or vote center between 6 am and 7 pm (local time). Early ballots for other counties should be mailed and not dropped off at Coconino County polling places or vote centers on Election Day.
Early voters need to remember to sign the outside of the return ballot envelope. If the ballot envelope is not signed the ballot will not be counted. Arizona state law requires the voter to personally vote his or her own early ballot and to sign the early ballot return envelope. The Recorder’s Office must have the early voter’s signature on the return envelope so they can verify that the ballot was voted by the early voter and not someone else.
For more information you should call the Recorder’s Office at 928-679-7860 or toll-free at 800-793-6181.
Greetings Democrats!
Last evening Arizona Democratic Party hosted a Town Hall here in Flagstaff. It was attended by over 100 local Democrats. After a lively social hour our State Chair, Yolanda Bejarano, gave a brief discussion of Project 2025 prior to introducing the panel of five candidates. In addition to Jonathan Nez and Aubrey Sonderegger we heard from the three Democrats running for Arizona Corporation Commission, Jonathan Hill, Ylenia Aguilar, and Joshua Polacheck. Their presentation was very informative and we are all going to work to have a majority on the Corporation Commission to deal with climate, energy, cybersecurity and more.
A fundraiser for Joshua Polacheck will be held on
Wednesday, July 24th, at Grand Canyon Brewery from 5-7pm
