Cannon Dismisses Case Against Trump For Stealing National Security Documents: Follow the corruption trail

“An Astonishing Ruling in Trump’s Classified-Documents Case”

“The facts of this case appeared to be simpler than those in any of the others against him. Upon leaving the White House, Trump took with him boxes full of documents, including what prosecutors say are highly classified ones relating to national security. He stashed the documents on a ballroom stage and in a bathroom at Mar-a-Lago, his estate in Florida. When the federal government repeatedly asked for them back, Trump refused. When Trump was subpoenaed, he allegedly sought to hide them. Notes from his lawyer, obtained by prosecutors, showed him scheming to conceal papers. In August 2022, after the Justice Department concluded that Trump was not complying, the FBI conducted an unannounced search at Mar-a-Lago and seized boxes.” – The Atlantic

MAGA justices in action

Donald Trump has spent over a year telling the voters he needs to have vote for him in November to stay out of state and/or federal prison for the rest of his natural life that his political rival Joe Biden and Attorney General, Merrick Garland are puppeteering the two federal criminal cases remaining against him: one in Florida and one in Washington… infamous for lying or else invoking the Fifth Amendment under oath in court proceedings is in this post confirming for all America to see that he again lied in court by making claims about Jack Smith he now swears to voters he doesn’t actually believe.” – Seth Abramson

Click on any person or organization to see details on them in the side panel. You can zoom in or out, just like a regular map. Use the FOCUS icon on the right to dig into details and connections for a person.

Use the tabs at the top to only see the details for someone. Choose from Cannon, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Alito, Roberts, Leo and billionaires. (Apologies: I wasn’t able to find the picture of the person who paid of Brett Kavanaugh’s credit card bills so I had to use an icon). This is what the map looks like when you click on the “Cannon” tab:

Cannon Pushes Back Critical Filing Deadline in Trump Documents Case

“Reversing one of her own decisions, Cannon, the federal judge overseeing Trump’s classified documents case granted his request on Monday to postpone the deadline for a crucial court filing in the criminal proceeding, increasing the chance that any trial would be pushed past the November election.

Mr. Trump has relentlessly pursued a strategy of delaying all four of the criminal cases he is facing, and if he succeeds in delaying his trial on charges of mishandling classified documents until after the election, he could order his Justice Department to drop the matter altogether if he wins.” – NY Times

Republicans stack the courts and pander the justices to get the rulings they want

“Mitch McConnell and Leonard Leo made no secret of their ambition to appoint as many conservatives as they could to the federal courts, including the Supreme Court. Judges like Cannon sneak off to remote luxury lodges in Montana to listen to right-wing legal scholars spouting off on subjects that sound like topics at a CPAC convention, about  “woke” laws and the “regulatory state,” and they do that for a reason: so we won’t know who’s paying for their time and their attention and their fun… Gee, is it possible that Leonard Leo and his pals think they might be getting a return on their investment?” – Lucian Truscott IV in Salon
