Remember when Trump gleefully claimed that he was personally responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade? He has since said he believes that the states are doing a great job intimidating women and their healthcare providers, supports tracking women’s periods to control their reproduction, and applauded the Arizona Supreme Court ruling to uphold an 1864 abortion law, criminalizing pregnant people and their doctors.
As the first state to implement the most draconian abortion laws that Trump and his MAGA Supreme Court unleashed on women when 50 years of Roe v. Wade protections were destroyed, Texas’ reign of terror so far includes:
- Any doctor who performs an abortion, and any pregnant person who has an abortion, could be sentenced to life in prison! A $10,000 bounty can be paid to accusers of people seeking an abortion and their helpers. Bounty hunters? Really Texas?!
- Take the case of Kate Cox, a 31-year-old Texas mother of two. She and her husband wanted a bigger family and were looking forward to having a new child in their lives. 20 weeks into her pregnancy, Kate’s doctor discovered that her baby was not viable and would likely “die inside her body”! Kate’s other two children were born via C-section. Taking this baby to term would endanger her future ability to have a child. A female judge determined that Kate’s case should be an exception to the cruel law and granted her the right to get an abortion.
- Enter Ken Paxton, one of the most corrupt attorneys general in the country. Here, (look him up!) Paxton decided that he knew better than all those ‘stupid women protestors, and that “clueless” female judge,’ so he petitioned the all-male Texas Supreme Court, which granted his petition to overturn the female judge’s order. During all those court delays, Kate developed sepsis which put her life in danger. She and her husband had to fly to another state to get the care that saved her life and their family. Heartbreaking! Cruel! Reactionary!
Texas was the epicenter of this “War on Women”, however, in less than two years since Roe v. Wade civil rights were destroyed, 21 states passed even more draconian laws restricting reproductive freedoms. JAMA’s internal medicine peer review group shared a study showing that between July 1, 2022 and January 1, 2024 an estimated more than 64,000 pregnancies resulted from rapes in states where laws ban abortions throughout a woman’s pregnancy in all or most cases.
Elect a true majority of Democrats in the House and Senate, and re-elect Biden-Harris to pass a federal law restoring pregnant people’s right to choose! Use your power as a social media influencer to remind everyone that people they deeply care about could face government overreach into their healthcare decisions. Government sanctioned forced birth cannot be permitted!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is no stranger to the reputable FactCheck.org. Over the years, FactCheck.org has reported on RFK Jr.’s conspiracy theories and bogus claims. In 2021, the Center for Countering Digital Hate named RFK Jr. together with his non-profit, Children’s Health Defense, part of the “Disinformation Dozen,” one of the top 12 spreaders of misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines.
RFK Jr. promotes a conspiracy theory without evidence that claims the CIA was behind the murder of both his uncle, John F. Kennedy, and his father, Robert F. Kennedy, Senior. He also falsely alleges that the 2020 presidential election was stolen by Biden. Yep, he is an election denier! And, in 2021 he authored a book called The Real Anthony Fauci, ludicrously claiming that the former NIAID head pulled off “an historic coup d’état” against democracy by promoting the COVID-19 vaccines.
These and other insane assertions earned him denouncement by the ENTIRE Kennedy family, all members of which have endorsed Joe Biden for president.
CBS News reported that former Trump advisor Steve Bannon, who was indicted for conning Trump supporters out of millions of dollars in donations with his “We Build the Wall” scam, encouraged RFK Jr. to run for president so he could “stir election chaos” in the Biden campaign.
In 2020, 74 million+ people cast votes for Biden, while 70 million+ people cast votes for Trump. Over the decades, third party candidates have siphoned votes from serious candidates. This year, a vote for RFK Jr., who currently is polling at 12%, potentially could contribute to the re-election of Trump. Friends don’t let friends vote for the third party, especially this one!
