The Oakland County Democratic Party is proud to participate in this wonderful event that honors diversity, equality, and the LGBTQ+ community. We’re actively seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us at our booth, and we’d be thrilled to have you on board. Today is a crucial day for our community as we vote on several key school funding initiatives that will impact our students’ future. Your support is essential in these elections, and I urge you to make your voice heard.
Here are the measures on today’s ballot:
Goodrich Area Schools Sinking Fund Millage: Seeks to establish a sinking fund for school repairs and upgrades, projecting to generate about $645,000 annually.
Hazel Park School Bond
Huron Valley School Bond
Walled Lake School Bond
Each of these measures is critical for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our educational facilities. It is vital that we pass these initiatives to ensure our schools are safe, modern, and capable of providing the best possible education.
